The defendant and the other individual were subsequently apprehended by the said ranks.A search was conducted on the men and the gun and ammunition mentioned in the charges were found on the accused. They were later arrested and charged for the offenses.Singh was represented by Attorney at Law Vic Puran who told the court that his client denied the facts of the prosecution. Puran claimed that the defence had no evidence and even requested that the CANU officials perform fingerprint testing and ballistic testing as to determine the recent discharge of the firearm.The prosecutor objected to bail due to the seriousness of the offence in relation to the firearm and ammunition possession. The magistrate concurred.Singh’s matter has been transferred to the Springlands Magistrates’ Court for a continuation today.
